I do think of yellowness when I am out and about, so my mini Project Spectrum is a success in that way, but I don't get around to blogging about it. This is partly because my blogging energies are taken up with another project,
Mostly Roys, a trip through a family album that I recently discovered.
But, here I am now. With some yellow roses in Stanley Park.
Stephen and I went to New Westminster and walked along the very gussied-up riverside with a friend. On our way back through town we found this sign at a level railway crossing.
Quintessential Vancouver yellow: the sulphur piles on the North Shore, along with Girl in a Wetsuit.
New knitting! We have been trying to get some furniture for our new condo, but there is a global shipping foul-up and it is hard to find a chair, along with bike parts, loom accessories, computer chips and many other household goods. We did manage to get a couple of chairs for the living room, and a bed, all grey! You want a different colour, wait until October...
So I have started knitting an afghan to throw over our grey furniture. It doesn't look like much yet, but I can assure you that I have some garish greens and a shocking pink in the wings.
We are off to Victoria for a few days later this week, so there will be blog fodder galore, perhaps!
