As many of you may know, we here in Toronto have a futuristic and space-age city hall. It is so space-age that it was even on Star Trek once.
(It has been noticed that all the windows on the towers look inward, paying no attention whatever to anything that goes on outside.)
I was there yesterday to meet a friend for lunch, and spent a few moments wandering about in the midday gloom before our date.
This pond is in the seasonal transition between summer fountain and winter ice rink. You can see some dangling winter star decorations. It all seems a bit odd, since a week ago we were sweltering in late summer heat, but now we are bundled up in the greyness and looking at fake snowflakes.
Beside the pond we have our selfie station, the big Toronto sign. Usually in the summer sunshine there are people sitting in the Os, leaning against the Ts.
This time I noticed all these little notes written on the sides of the letters.
Nice. Click to see the big picture!
